Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs FC

This team was originally formed as the S & A Under 8's Blues and were formed in early 2024, emerging from the club’s Saturday Youth Development sessions.
What began as a small and committed group of enthusiastic young footballers had developed into a strong squad by 2025.
They are a close-knit team who train, play and get on brilliantly off the pitch as friends.
The team is managed by parent coaches Warren McAleny and Christophe Corne, the Blues are built on equal playing time, positivity and development over results.
Every player is encouraged to grow at their own pace while contributing to the team as a whole.
The coaching philosophy centres on confidence, creativity and leadership, giving every child the chance to explore different positions, make decisions and take ownership of their journey. The The team are committed to playing the right way – with effort, integrity and respect in every game.
