A brilliant team performance from S & A Under 9’s today against a very good Southport FC.
We where without are goalie so Mathew and Patrick stood in and excelled as stand in goalies.
We had some outstanding individual performances but we where most impressed with the team performance.
The passing and communication between the lads today was exceptional.
It was a pleasure to be able to stand back and just watch the lads just play football.
Putting the boys in a summer league has definitely paid off.
Player of the match today was a dual affair going both Mathew for his brilliance in goal in the first half and his defensive work in the second.
He could have had a goal too. Arlo was are second man of the match with a preference that can only be described as exceptional.
What this young lad can do with a football sometimes blows are minds. His determination and quality is just getting better with every game.
Well done today boys. Up the S & A
