Under 11's reds entertained Birkdale United for the first time this season on a chilly morning at Ainsdale Club.
Both sides contributed to a wonderful game of football in which Zak Keelan was presented the 'Player of the match' award for a strong performance in central midfield. Harry Osbaldaston continued his goalscoring run with a well taken goal as he nipped in the score from a corner which pleased the manager as they had practised the routine before the game. The ever reliable Sam Howell added a further two goals to his impressive seasons tally one of which was a tremendous left foot strike from 10 yards out. Caitlin Lee was given the 'Most improved player' trophy after a great one two set up Howell for his second. Zak and Caitlin pictured.Well done all the players.
