Under 13's

Tough away game today for our under 13's at Shevington Park on the 3g pitch at JMO. First half we just couldn't get to grips with the game and having changed the formation for this game to 3-5-2 given the opposition were one of the favourites for the league we thought this would give us more solidity in defence. In the end this wasn't the case and we went in at half time 4-0 down. We reverted to our normal 4-3-3 in the second half and had much more of the game. Neither side managed to score in the second half but the performance was far better. Players motm went to Oliver Scott who had a really strong game in defence against tough opposition and did everything asked of him. Managers motm went to Leo Keane for his second half performance in particular where he made two goal line clearances and made it really hard for the opposition to get down the wings.
