Goal machine Keating is relentless in top on the table clash
S&A U14's reds travelled to Kirkby this morning for a top of the table clash.
Travelling with a squad of 15 two changes were made to last week's game.
Harvey Thompson came in at right back and Torren Butters - McNaught came into midfield.
S&A started brightly with the first goal after 8 mins. Probably the finest goal of the day, a 5 pass counter attacking move at speed found Lewis Handley - Walsh play in Adam Keating to tap home for his 16th of the season.

4 mins later some fantastic work on the right from Lewis Handley - Walsh who delivered a delightfully floated cross to the back post finished of with a nice header from the brilliant Luca Bailey for his 20th of the season.

5 mins later Kirkby were awarded a free kick on the edge of S&A's box which was excellently blocked by the ever present Louis McLoughlin.
From the ricochet the ball fell to the superb Torren Butters - Mcnaught who drove forward with the ball at pace and found an excellent weighted pass in the path of Adam Keating who fired home from 20 yards for his 17th of the season.

Just 4 minutes later S&A continued with their relentless work.
Luca Bailey showed his class with some fantastic trickery down the left flank before cutting inside and playing the ball into the path of Torren Butters - Mcnaught who excellently dispatched from the edge of the area into the top right corner.

Second half 13 mins in the relentless Luca Bailey beat his man, cut inside and fizzed the ball from the left corner flag into the 6 yard box where the brilliantly positioned Adam Keating finished in poachers style for his hat trick and his 18th of the season.
Moments later Kirkby responded with a very well taken goal curled into the corner from the edge of the box.

20 mins into the second half the fabulous Lucas Charnock latched onto a second ball, driving forward before executing a beautifully weighted pass into the path of Adam Keating who finished with a delightful chip over the oncoming keeper to make it 19th for the season and fourth of the game.

9 mins to go some relentless pressing from Adam Keating and Matthew Cosgrove forced an error from the Kirkby defender again ricocheting into the feet of Matthew Cosgrove who drove forward and dispatched from close range.

Moments later a through ball from Harps led to a penalty being awarded which initially was saved by S&A's number 1 Seb Mcllveen which unfortunately rebounded into the path of the harps penalty taker who finished into the empty net.

Overall a fantastic squad performance but special recognition must go to captain Lucas Charnock for a magnificent performance from the first to last minute.
Also Adam Keating - what a rich vein of form this boy is in.
His fourth hat - trick of the season , his third consecutive hat -trick in as many games.
