Under 12's

U12s played Redgate yellows in a repeat of the opening day fixture. S&A started brightly and took the lead with a great team goal. Starting with Aaron and Jamie moving the ball quickly which enabled Jamie to get in behind the defence to pull back the perfect pass for Morgan arriving on the penalty spot to smash home his first goal of the season.
Redgate where growing into the game playing some really nice football and got a deserved equaliser with some nice flowing football of their own. Alex and Noah where introduced after 20 minutes and made an immediate impact with Alex’s energy and Noah’s excellent hold up play. Alex scored an incredible solo goal just before half time beating 3 players and firing into the bottom corner from the eye of the box.

Into the second half and both teams continued to play some really nice football and both teams battled competitively all over the pitch. S&A half time subs Charlie and Owen took to the game well and it was Charlie who got the 3rd goal with a messi esque run down the left wing before cutting inside and finishing neatly inside the near post. Both teams continued to push for more goals with Adam having another confident and as usual calm presence in goal.

All the lads can be extremely happy with their energy levels and commitment today against a physical and technical team.
'Player of the match' goes to Alex for unbelievable energy and really well taken goal.
