Sunday Senior 1st team

Sunday 1st team came from 2-0 down to draw to 2-2 with Coach and Horses this morning. Coach and Horses made a flying start scoring after only 3 minutes when they broke away after an S&A corner. That lead was then doubled only 5 minutes later when a deep cross wasn't dealt with which was headed home. S&A then settled and started to pass the ball as they pushed for a way back in the game. Rob Lamont pulled one back just on half time after Paul Grant, Sam Cope and Lamont all saw efforts saved before that.

The second half saw S&A continue to dominate Lamont fired over. A triple change saw more pressure put on Coach and Horses. Boden hit the post while Spencer narrowly headed wide. Grant also flashed a shot wide. Coach and Horses keeper also made a fine save The equaliser eventually came when Cunliffe squared for Grant to fire home. More chances came when Boden saw a goal bound effort hit Cunliffe while a scramble saw Wincer fire over. The final chance led to Boden firing over through on goal.
