S & A Sunday Senior Blue travelled to a wet and windy Sandy lane in the second game of the Bob Mitchell Shield.
Blues started well with Mo Samateh going close . Playing football was going to be difficult on a pitch that was cutting up by the minute but Blues made the most of it to go 0-1 up on 18 mins, Samateh with a fine finish .
More pressure from blues saw chances go begging from Jake Graham , Harrison Woods and Samateh

A quick turn around in worsening conditions and more possession from the Blues on 67 mins blues went two up with a fine individual goal from Cole Connolly with his first for the Blues. 12 mins later Samateh made it 0-3 with his second of the game .
On 83 mins Connolly grabbed his second after a penetrating run and an assist from left back Harry Tinsley who was making his first appearance of the season

S & A 'Player of the match' was awarded to Jamie Connolly his first 90 mins for the Blues after making the step up to open age football at 18 .
