Coates Impressive as Sunday Senior Reserves get back to winning ways
S&A Sunday reserves today hosted Cream at the Ainsdale club .
S & A looking to bounce back at home after two poor results on the road .
It was S & A who started the better of the two sides with early chances falling to an unlucky Connor Murphy watching his efforts go wide . But on 13 mins S & A went into the lead with a cool finish from Jack Barton.
S & A continued to dominate possession with the impressive Ben Coates and Jaydon Owens Hunt bossing the middle of the park . On 38 mins S & A made it two through Barton again after a shout for handball the official played advantage and Barton did just that . 2,0 With halftime looming a long hopefull ball from Cream left S & A centre half holding his face everyone stopped except the Cream player who dispatched the ball to make it 2,1 at the break .
A deluge at half time did little to dampen S & A’s spirits and continued to play some fantastic passing football causing Cream no end of problems . On 55 mins S & A scored a quite brilliant goal through Wilson Cabrel (debut) after some precise passing down the S & A right and Cabrel with a sublime left foot finish 3.1 .
S & A smelt more goals would come and the 4th did on 60 min through Owens-Hunt to top a fantastic performance in midfield .
Then on 70 mins from young Tom Wakefield whose contribution as a 2nd half substitute was Impressive .
Then on 79 mins S & A made it 6 with a break from Wakefield whose shot was half stopped by Cream keeper only for Jonny on the spot Terry Murphy for a tap in to continue his impressive tally this season for S & A .
An overall dominant display from S & A after an indifferent start to the season .
