Saturday Senior Reserves

Well done to Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs Saturday Senior Reserves on Saturday beating Shevington Reserves 5-1 in their Lancastrian Brigade Cup semi final. S&A deserved their convincing win with a solid display. The team as a whole was not their overall best but goals from Dan Thompson, Peter Moretti, Luca Intanozzo, Tom Wright and Jamie McCormack sealed the victory. No 'Player of the match' was awarded as it was an overall team display that saw them through. They can now look forward to a final under the lights against Gables FC (Chorley) at Bamber Bridge FC on Wednesday3rd May 2023. Well done to all the squad this season.
